10/11 Panini Threads Basketball is set to release on November 24, 2010. The rookie cards will feature autographs on hardwood like cards - and the entire set will have over 20,000 on-card autographs! With a Hobby SPR of $4.00 per pack & 2 autographs + 2 memorabilia cards per box, this might be a pretty nice set going into the holiday season.

2010-11 Panini Limited + NEW Rookies & Stars Checklists

A new season of basketball is almost here and basketball collectors are waiting for the newest releases. John Wall is the top pick and will have many collectors hunting for his cards during box breaks and single card auctions & trades. However, one rookie that you might want to keep an eye on is Jeremy Lin of the Golden State Warriors. He is from California and played basketball for Harvard (smart kid) however he is the first American basketball player of Taiwanese descent.  His Autograph from 2010-11 Panini Limited Basketball is shown below.

Another recently announced product is 2010/11 Panini Rookies and Stars Basketball. This set contains 1 Patch Autograph Card per box - along with 3 other auto's or memorabilia cards serial #/499 or less! You will find legends and veterans along with all the top picks from the 2010/11 NBA Draft Class. You will also find LeBron James and Chris Bosh in their new Miami Heat uniforms.You will find Jeremy Lin RC cards in here too.

10/11 Panini Prestige Basketball will come out later this month and will be one of the first chances to get the new autograph RC cards of all the top picks.

2009/10 Panini National Treasures Cut Signature Autograph Pictures

09/10 Panini National Treasures Basketball will soon be in collectors hands early next month. That won't stop Panini from releasing some photos of the Cut Autograph Cards you can get in this years product. When the checklist was released early on, George Mikan was the only player known - now we know there are more legends that will be in the set. Look for National Treasures Basketball to be in stores August 4.

Brand New Panini Checklist!! 2010/11 Panini Prestige Basketball

Nothing excites us more than a new season of NBA basketball. This year you have LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh forming a mini dream team in South Beach. The Lakers have signed Matt Barnes and should have a healthy Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum for another run at the championship. It should be a great season with lots of coverage and attention from the media.

We haven't even touched on this years 10/11 Rookie Cards!! John Wall and many others will make their 1st appearance on NBA cardboard. Panini Prestige will have them all covered, including 1 RC autograph per box.

10/11 Prestige Basketball will have 24 Packs per box - there are 2 Autograph Cards + 2 Memorabilia cards, all for around $4.00 per pack. Expect to find Prestige in stores around September 29.

With the 2010/11 NBA Draft Picks already selected - collectors still have have time to collect some 09/10 Basketball sets that will be coming out during the summer months. No word from Panini on any 10/11 Releases as of yet - however we expect some information shortly.

09/10 Panini Court Kings Basketball is set to release June 30, 2010. There are 11 Cards Per Pack/Box that will run you somewhere south of $100. This delivers 4 Memorabilia or Autographs along with 7 other inserts/base cards. What is cool about this set is that every base card is serial #/325 - which makes them somewhat more collectible that your average base card. There are many other cool autographs and memorabilia cards - along with Tyreke Evans Rookie Cards.

09/10 Panini Crown Royale Basketball is a great re-mix of the popular Football and Baseball Pacific branded products of the past. Collectors will be familiar with the die-cut crown - which will feature some good looking on-card autograph rookie cards. This product is set to release on July 14, 2010. It has an interesting configuration - 4 Packs - 7 Cards Per Pack. Each Pack contains an autograph or memorabilia card. This retails at around $100 per box - making it a fairly good deal for this type of product + you get 4 hits. It will be interesting to see what set collectors like more - this set or Panini Court Kings above...

09/10 Panini National Treasures Basketball - the mother of all 2009/10 Basketball sets! Or at least the most expensive at around $400 per pack! Luckily for that money you get 8 cards per pack - 2 Base Cards/RC/Legend + 6 Autographs or Memorabilia Cards. The Rookie Autographs look great and probably will be some of the most expensive and sought after Panini Basketball rookie cards of the season. You should find plenty of huge hits in a product like this - and even if you can't afford the $400 price tag (like myself :) you will want to check for single cards - as these will be cool to add to your collection. Release Date: August 4, 2010.

09/10 Panini Hall Of Fame Basketball is a HOF only product - meaning rookie card collectors should avoid this products - and old timers like myself will jump for joy! This product has some awesome cards including actual game used 1992 USA Olympic Dream Team game used jersey cards!! You will find autographs of many NBA hall of famers including Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and more. This set contains 1 Pack Per Box - 11 Cards Per Pack - Each Box Contains 2 Autographs & 1 Memorabilia Card. The hobby box/pack SRP is $100 and you should find this at your local hobby shop around August 18, 2010.
